<p>I started my return to Luxemburg on the twenty-second of December. Since I don‘t have any direct flight to my home country, I decided to stop by in Zurich for a day, to meet some friends who are studying there.</p>
<p>The Nikola Tesla airport was really crowded when I arrived there and it was hard to reach the check-in. I thought I was late for the flight – but then I remind myself that I was in Serbia. The plane was late two hours. Consequence of that: I arrived in the city centre only after 8 o‘clock, so I wasn‘t able to see much of Zurich. But it was enough to have a culture shock and the big christmas tree in front of the train station with full of Swarowski diamonds didn‘t improve the situation. The train from Zurich to Luxembourg was late as well – one minute and it arrived five minutes too early in Luxembourg.</p>
<p>The days between Christmas and my return to Belgrade were filled with eating, meeting up with family and friends and a short one-day-trip to Trier, the oldest city of Germany, thinking about what to do after my EVS (since it will be over, in my case, in less then two months).</p>
<p>I took the plane on the fifth of January from Charleroi in Belgium to avoid a flight with stops, guess what, it was late two hours. During the waiting time, I was sitting next to a Scottish renewable energies-student, who travelled the world and a real estate agent from Montenegro, which met on the airport, had and were talking about nothing less than the meaning of life – not all random discussions have to be about random stuff!</p>
<p>Back in Belgrade, some of the volunteers and me attended Orthodox Christmas service in Sveti Sava on Friday evening. We learnt about the tradition that Orthodox people keep a piece of wood in their houses for a few days and then burn in front a church (a reminiscence to when they burnt wood in Jesus‘ crib to keep the cave warm), to get happiness, luck etc., we heart people singing about Kosovo, and finally managed to get into the very crowded church.<br />
